Spring is when nature awakens.
The earth begins to give back its fruits, offering fresh, flavorful ingredients that tell the story of the season’s beauty.

For this Easter lunch, our Lumìa Organic Restaurant offers a culinary experience rooted in the essence of our land. Wild herbs, flowers, and fresh vegetables are the stars of a menu that celebrates seasonality and biodiversity, telling the story of an ecosystem that regenerates itself and generously offers its best. Each dish becomes an homage to nature a tribute to its beauty and balance.

This culinary experience is a sensory journey that speaks of the earth, tradition, and a passion for food grown in harmony with the environment. A celebration of change, an invitation to return to what is simple, genuine, and in perfect balance with life’s natural cycle.

The tasting menu includes four courses, offering a sample of nature. An à la carte menu will also be available for both lunch and dinner.

To complete the gastronomic experience, guests will be invited to take part in a cooking class to prepare the traditional Sicilian Easter dessert, “cuddure con l’ova”. Guided by our chef Gabriele Camiolo, each participant will enjoy a moment of creativity and sharing, learning the secrets of this traditional recipe.

Every first of the month, from May to November 2025, Dimora delle Balze and Lumìa Organic Restaurant invite you to the second edition of A Convivial Dinner.

This unique experience places you at the heart of a journey through the rich Sicilian landscape. An interactive evening where food, connection, and shared moments take center stage. Dinner unfolds around a communal table, featuring seasonal ingredients grown on the estate and reimagined through the creative lens of Chef Gabriele Camiolo.

The blind menu is guided only by the rhythm of the seasons and micro-seasons. It evolves with what the land offers at that exact moment, celebrating freshness, spontaneity, and the expressive nature of the territory.

Dimora delle Balze and Lumìa Organic Restaurant invite you to celebrate Easter Monday in an oasis of unspoiled nature, where the aromas of the land blend with the authentic flavors of tradition. Immersed in the fields of Passo Ladro, rediscover your deep connection with nature through a unique sensory experience.

Join the foraging walk guided by naturalist Paolo Uccello, where you’ll explore the area in search of wild herbs, learning their properties, benefits, and uses in traditional cooking. The herbs collected will become the focus of a lunch in our citrus grove, featuring fresh seasonal dishes, herbal drinks, and a selection of natural wines that express our territory’s authentic character. Enjoy live cooking stations, where you’ll watch arancini and fresh ricotta being made and served with warm, freshly baked bread. Chef Gabriele Camiolo will delight you with an exclusive cooking show dedicated to fried sweet ricotta ravioli, a tribute to the flavors of western Sicily.

For children, a creative egg-decorating workshop will revive an ancient tradition in a playful, shared setting. Easter Monday with us is an experience that celebrates the beauty of simplicity, authentic flavor, and a deep connection to nature. A chance to slow down, savor, and be enveloped by the aromas of the land and the rhythm of the landscape.

In May, Dimora delle Balze invites you to join a three-part experience celebrating raw ingredients, the land, and its roots, exploring the primal bond between humanity and nature.

Materia – Stories from the Soil is an event that invites you to rediscover the essence of the land through food, touch, and storytelling.
At the heart of the evening is cuisine, interpreted as a reflection of the land where its ingredients are born. The menu, shaped by what our fields naturally provide, becomes a journey through seasonal flavors served on materials that awaken all the senses: from smell to touch, from sight to taste.

Surrounded by nature’s scents and under the starry sky of the Iblean Valley, embark on a culinary journey:
Chef Gabriele Camiolo will lead your palate through a discovery of authentic, memorable flavors.
Astrophysicist Andrea Orlando, president of the Sicilian Institute of Astrophysics, will guide you through the constellations, their secrets and influence on humans, blending ancient wisdom with modern science.

The evening will include a curated local wine pairing by our sommelier to elevate the authentic flavors of our land.

8albe – Contemporary Art Festival

Third Edition

8albe is a contemporary art festival based in Eastern Sicily, named in homage to the precious natural site surrounding this biodiverse region.

The project is fully supported by Dimora delle Balze.

In this third edition, art guides us through times of profound transformation. From mythical beginnings to melancholic laments, from ancient spiritual traditions to cosmic tales, the films of “Tramonti: Cosmogonies and Endings of Worlds” imagine the emergence and resilience of lives and knowledge through endings and new beginnings. Rather than offering utopian or apocalyptic visions, these films create a space for building new worlds with tenderness, while engaging in the labor of letting go.

The third edition unfolds across four programs, titled “How We Ended,” “How We Began,” “How We Ended,” and again “How We Began.” These repetitions and starting from the end are intentional, reflecting the festival’s overall proposal: to highlight the metabolic process of Earth’s transformation and renewal. Across the four screenings, the films reflect on the world as an organization of forms, lives, spaces, and knowledge all of which are always, necessarily, temporary.

Dimora delle Balze and Lumìa Organic Restaurant invite you to a celebration of the elemental forces that shape the land. Two exclusive August evenings where food becomes ritual, fire becomes spectacle, and the surrounding landscape transforms into a vibrant stage.

At the heart of the evening is cuisine an authentic reflection of the land. The menu follows the rhythm of the seasons and the yield of our fields, offering organic vegetables, spit-roasted meats cooked using ancient techniques, fish, and traditional Sicilian flavors elevated by live fire BBQ. Each dish tells a story of connection to the land, respect for raw ingredients, and a passion for cuisine as an expression of culture and identity.

Mangiafuoco is an elemental encounter an experience beyond taste that engages all the senses. A theatrical fire show will enchant guests with flames dancing in the dark, creating an atmosphere rich in energy. The restaurant lounge will become a cozy space lit by candles and soft lights, with music inspired by the sounds of the earth, enhancing the night’s intensity.

Enjoy a curated selection of themed cocktails and local wines. A moment to slow down and be surprised.
