Dimora delle Balze is a 19th-century estate set on the Hyblaean plateau in eastern Sicily, nestled within a 27-hectare valley of certified organic farmland, just a few kilometres from Palazzolo Acreide, a UNESCO World Heritage town in the Val di Noto. Here, hospitality is part of a broader vision that brings together nature, agriculture and cuisine into a single sustainable ecosystem. Through the agricultural project Passo Ladro, the estate restores historic lands using organic and regenerative practices, enhancing biodiversity and supporting the local supply chain.

The rooms at Dimora delle Balze are the heart and soul of the estate. With a total of 11 rooms, each space has been carefully designed and decorated with its own distinctive aesthetic, paying homage to the estate’s centuries-old heritage while preserving many original architectural features, including frescoed ceilings and stone walls.
