A sensory culinary experience that celebrates the primordial bond between humanity and nature through raw ingredients. Both events will take the form of immersive journeys, an invitation to listen to the earth and its roots, letting oneself be guided by its rhythms and transformations.

The event on May 17th will see ingredients intertwine with the colors, scents, and flavors of edible local flowers, in a tribute to Noto’s Infiorata. The evening of the 22nd will take place in collaboration with chef Accursio Craparo, to create an authentic dialogue between different visions, knowledge, and sensibilities.

The dining room transforms into an immersive space, where evocative projections and backdrops enhance the experience. Sounds of the earth and distant voices complete the experience, transporting guests into a narrative where cuisine and nature merge.

The menu at MATERIA – The Stories from the Soil emerges from the union of nature and ingredients, striking a balance between authentic flavors deeply rooted in the local terroir.

A sensory narrative in which raw ingredients interact with culinary art and tradition, creating an experience that evolves over time and across the seasons.

For the evening of May 17th, the menu will be dedicated to the Infiorata di Noto: a tribute in which flowers take center stage, weaving their way into every course and transforming the dish into a composition inspired by the ephemeral and symbolic beauty of this celebration. The dining experience will be accompanied by a selection of wines from the Tasca d’Almerita winery, in a dialogue with the Sicilian territory.

On May 22nd, the menu instead opens with a four-handed collaboration between Chef Gabriele Camiolo and Chef Accursio Craparo: a shared vision that takes shape in an entirely plant-based menu, where ingredients express themselves in their purest and most contemporary essence. On this occasion, the wine pairing becomes a true journey through Italy, with labels selected from different regions to accompany each course.

Both experiences unfold across four courses, four chapters that delve into the roots of the land and local memory, following the rhythm of micro-seasonality.

A journey in which every gesture and every taste reveal the deep connection between people, nature, and the land.
