Green Thumbs is an experience designed for families staying at Dimora delle Balze. Children will embark on an engaging journey through our fields at Passo Ladro, discovering the world of vegetables, herbs and seasonal produce. Together we will gather the freshest ingredients, discovering the value and richness that nature has to offer, through a route mapped out especially for them, which also includes fun challenges. In this way, the children will be able to earn a certificate as a “Level 1 farmer”.

With the help of our staff, they will have the opportunity to cook with freshly harvested ingredients, preparing themselves a tasty orange juice and a delicious bruschetta with tomato. In addition, each child will have the opportunity to plant a “seed” in the Dimora delle Balze pool, creating a special memento of this day.

An experience that brings children closer to the earth, nature and cooking, all in a safe and welcoming environment that stimulates children’s curiosity and teaches them to respect and appreciate the nature that surrounds them.
